Meet Cassandra (Cass), a dynamic professional with a diverse skill set spanning beauty, wellness and entrepreneurship. With a Cosmetology License obtained in 2003, Cass went on to acquire a Master Instructor License, demonstrating her commitment to excellence and education within the industry. Her journey took her through various educational paths, including counseling with a focus on services to the deaf and rehabilitation, as well as specialized training in makeup artistry for film, television and special effects.

Driven by a passion for innovation, Cass purchased Life Essentials Day Spa in 2018, where she introduced cutting-edge services such as microblading, establishing herself as a pioneer in the Yampa Valley. After successfully nurturing the spa, Cass transitioned into a new chapter by joining McCreight Progressive Dentistry and helping with the creation of Steamboat Face and Body. Here, she continues to blend her expertise in beauty and wellness, catering to the diverse needs of the community while embodying an entrepreneurial spirit.

Shauna has been a Steamboat resident for 20 years and is a familiar face within the community. Many locals recognize her from food institutions around town. She has a culinary arts degree from Texas State Technical College in Waco, Texas. While in school she also competed in The Vocation Industrial Clubs of America in the culinary arts division bringing home the award in 2002. After graduating she moved to San Antonio, Texas, and worked for James Beard awarded Chef Bruce Auden at the restaurant Biga on The Banks. In her pursuit of health and fitness she then went on to deepen her understanding of nutrition completing a Nutrition Coaching Certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine in 2022. Shifting her attention in the world of wellness, Shauna is trained as a micro current technician operating both the Myopulse and Acuscope devices. Shauna’s passion for bodywork continued to grow and she earned a license for massage therapy. Her unique combination of culinary, nutrition and wellness through massage bring a progressive dynamic to Steamboat Face and Body. With her understanding of the body and listening to her clients goals she is a powerful tool to our team by taking clients from existing to thriving.
